The highly successful HBO show “Game of Thrones” opened its Comic-Con 2013 panel by remembering the countless characters that have died during the first epic three seasons of the show.

“GoT” kicked off Comic-Con with an entertaining yet sad In Memoriam reel which was set to the tune of the classic Boys II Men song, “It’s Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday”.

In the clip, they remember all the characters who were killed… whether it was by being stabbed, beheaded or having a pot of molten gold poured on their head it kept us captivated.

In the end, they tease the upcoming 4th season by saying:

“The North Remembers.”

20 Things ‘Gilmore Girls’ Taught Me About Being In My 20s

Netflix announced that it will begin streaming all seven seasons of “Gilmore Girls” starting today, so, of course, October 1 […]

5 Reasons To Give ABC’s ‘Black-ish’ A Chance

For the better part of this year, I’ve been impatiently looking forward to many new shows on ABC, especially “Black-ish.” The show is a Kenya-Barris-created sitcom about a black family in suburban America, figuring out its cultural identity. “Black-ish” premiered last Wednesday night, and it was everything I hoped it would be. It was fun, […]

It Takes 74 Gallons Of Water to Grow A Single Pound Of Avocados

This is horrible news. Avocados, everyone’s favorite fruit (and the subject of many an Instagram), are apparently ruining the environment. OK, so that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but get this: It takes a whopping 74.1 gallons of water to produce just one pound of avocados (compared to lettuce, which requires 5.5 gallons per pound). […]

There Is A Way Back Up: Where To Go After You Hit Rock Bottom

Is the universe just toying with us? How I approached this question changed for me about two years ago after a visit with my family doctor. “I recommend we operate,” he said. As I walked to the parking lot from the doctor’s office, I remember being completely distraught. I literally had nothing going for me; […]
