This 360-Degree Video Of SpaceX's Rocket Landing Is As Epic As It Sounds

Ever wonder what standing on a drone ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean would be like?

In a recent video uploaded to YouTube by Elon Musk's SpaceX, we're all given a rare 360-degree scope of the successful Falcon 9 rocket landing that took place on April 8.

The video starts off with the drone ship swaying side to side with the ocean current. About 10 seconds later, the camera begins shaking as the Falcon 9 begins its landing procedure. You can even see the rocket's legs deploy for stability.

With one of SpaceX's primary goals being to produce reusable rockets, this successful landing was a huge step forward.

According to Mashable, SpaceX plans to use reusable rockets to lower the cost of taking people and payloads to space.

Just last month, the California-based aerospace company experienced a failed drone ship landing for the fourth time due to a heavy payload featuring an 11,000-pound satellite.

And, I already remembered this heart-stopping landing fail back in 2015.

This time, however, with a successful landing, I think it's safe to say Musk and his team might have finally figured this whole reusable-rocket thing out!
