This $470,000 Gold Ring Sports Real Human Skin & Hair
This gold ring has to be, by far, one of the most ridiculous creations we’ve ever seen. First off, its about $500,000 and it has real human skin and hairs wrapped around it. We’re not joking.
Sruli Recht‘s “Forget Me Knot” ring boasts of a small strip of Recht’s actual skin mounted on the exterior. The designer had 4 inch by 0.4 inch piece of skin sliced off from his abdomen, after which it was tanned and then mounted to cover the 24-karat gold band.
The hair that was on the skin was left there for decoration. The ring will be sold with a DNA certificate and a DVD that documents the entire process.
Sruli Recht‘s “Forget Me Knot” ring is unique in all ways, including pricing as it comes to a staggering $470,000! Wonder who would shell out so much money to own a piece of the designer’s skin? Not us, for sure.
