Artists Merge Classic Paintings With Popular Hip-Hop Lyrics And They're A Match Made In Heaven (Photos)

by Robert Anthony

Who would've thought that Biggie lyrics and the Mona Lisa portrait would make the perfect couple? Two artists who go by the names of Gisella Velasco and Toni Potenciano, that's who!

The duo's recent, clever photographic series paired together classic, famous paintings and portraits with popular hip-hop lyrics. The series is titled "Fly Art," and Velasco and Potenciano started it back in 2013.

If you look closely, you can see that each of the lyrics reflects what's going on in the actual portrait.
