When it comes to creatively capturing the perfect photos of their weddings, some couples really go all out.
Whether it's posing underwater in a mermaid-like photoshoot or crossing continents to find the perfect backdrop in Norway, these brides and grooms will stop at nothing to get the most epic pictures on their big days.
In a quest to recognize the talent that goes into creating these stunning images, the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers holds a series of contests that highlight the best wedding photos of the year.
The images are judged on everything from composition and artistic value to their emotional impact, and winners are selected for 20 different photo categories.
If one thing is for sure, all of the winning photos depict a truly special moment presented in a variety of breathtakingly beautiful ways.
