A good investment is one that puts money in your pocket rather then the opposite. So, while the 99% of us purchase a cheap car and consider those who purchase expensive vehicles like Ferraris wasteful, this mindset is incorrect.

A well-kept Ferrari actually maintains its value very well, and, provided you can keep it in excellent condition for more than a few decades, it actually gives a wonderful return on your investment. Obviously, you would still need an eye for cars – as this owner of the Ferrari 250 GT did.

Known as one of the top ten Ferraris of all time, this vehicle is considered to be the most elegant open-air Ferrari ever manufactured. Jameslist has one of these beauties for sale for $3.6 Million. This yellow colored 250 GT, featuring coachwork by Pininfarina, is going on sale after nearly 30 years.
