The amazing Aston Martin V8 Vantage has been on the market for seven years now, and since its latest update took place in 2008, the car practically screamed for attention and some improvements in several departments. This year, it got exactly that.

The first thing you’ll notice about the 2012 model is its modified front fascia, altered as to improve airflow to the radiator and brakes. This obviously also helps it stand out when put next to its siblings.
Unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the car also flaunts some other changes, like the stronger brakes with Hill Start Assist and the faster steering rack.
Still powered by the same 420-hp 4.8-liter naturally-aspirated V8, the car’s original 6-speed manual transmission can now be swapped with the new optional automatic gearbox: a 7-speed Sportshift II sequential one.
Even though the automotive industry is now very fond of dual-clutch units, this one remains a single-clutch gearbox, but it is definitely quicker and smoother than its predecessor.
The 2012 Aston Martin V8 is a powerful and luxurious driving machine that maintains the core values of a Vantage.
