There Are More Cars Than People In The World And It's A Major, Major Problem (Photos)

by Robert Anthony

You're likely unaware that we're dumping brand new cars in massive lots called "car parks." It's happening because we're over-producing vehicles to the point that there are now more cars than people in the world.

According to A Plus, there are 10 billion cars in the world, yet only a small portion of those are active and on the road.

The rest are just packed into lots around the world and left to rust forever. Now, think about all of the people who wish they could afford a car (quite possibly, you're one of them).

Of course, if manufacturers just started giving out new cars, it would ruin the auto sales market. But, it just makes no sense to keep producing automobiles just to litter them.

Raising awareness about this problem is helpful, as it may lead automakers and distributors to take action.
