With SEMA 2012 already a distant memory, the German tuner has started work on transforming a Ferrari F430 Scuderia. One of the stars of the 2012 SEMA Show was DMC’s special edition Lamborghini Aventador.

But while the Italian supercar was taking all the plaudits it seems the German aftermarket specialist was hard at work creating a new package for a Ferrari F430 Scuderia.

The project is called “Carbonio,” which doesn’t take a linguistic genius to work out involves the liberal application of carbon fiber. DMC’s initial pictures hint at what’s to come for the supercar, most notably the front bumper that has already received the carbon-fiber treatment.

We can also see the front lip, aka “the Sword” that fits snuggly in the bumper, has been sorted in the lightweight material.

Plenty more is expected of the fledgling project, especially with regards the 4.3-liter V8 that will hopefully see a significant rise in output from its current potential of 483 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque. For now enjoy these pictures and look forward to the finished article in the not so distant future.

Stop Being Stingy: 3 Ways Generosity Can Boost Your Well-Being

One of the biggest drawbacks of being extremely frugal, like myself, is that you can often hold on a little too tight to your money. While this is great in situations where you say no to $650 designer shoes, I’ve learned that I also need to loosen up on my cash when it comes to being generous with […]

Iggy Vs. Snoop: How The Internet Blows Up Petty Drama

Hip-hop is in a strange place right now. Classic rules and beliefs are being cast aside for a more “everything goes” culture. As a result, artists many of us grew up with are doing things and acting in a manner that is troubling. Each time I glanced at my Twitter News Feed yesterday, I was […]

‘South Park’ Released The Full-Length Version Of The Lorde Song

Recently, “South Park” made fun of Lorde by claiming that Randy Marsh was actually the teenage crooner. It was more of a statement on the computer-aided production of music these days, rather than a jab at Lorde, which is probably why the actual Lorde took it so well. Now, the “South Park” guys released the […]
