Fact: BMW Drivers Actually Are The Biggest Douche Bags On The Road

by Robert Anthony

If you drive a BMW, you might have a deadly case of the douche bag. According to the Wall Street Journal, BMW drivers possess more negative traits than any other drivers on the road.

The most interesting part about their assessment is the fact that they have statistics and field research to back it up. The studies were done in both the United States and the United Kingdom just to make sure both sides of the spectrum were being targeted properly.

The first study was conducted at the University of California where they concluded that BMW drivers "were far less likely to stop for a pedestrian who had just entered a crosswalk." Wow, really guys? You think because you drive a $40,000 3 series, you don't have to stop for pedestrians who enter a crosswalk, which they have the right to do, because you're turning on green? Sounds pretty douchey to us.

The same study was conducted by WSJ on fancier cars than BMWs and even these drivers stopped for pedestrians, so the problem seems to really sit with bougie BMW drivers. However, you'll be shocked to hear that Toyota Prius drivers are also complete assholes who fail to stop for pedestrians at four-way stop intersections! Oh, great. The douche baggage has now infiltrated its way into the life of a hybrid car driver. That's the last thing we need.

If there's one thing we learned today, it's that the next time you see a BMW, give the driver the finger and keep it moving because, according to WSJ, chances are the driver will keep driving as you try to cross the street on a rainy Sunday (and Prius drivers, too).
