The Jaguar XKX concept car by Bahrain-based design studio Skyrill and Albanian designer Marin Myftiu, is a totally new take on the classic Jag we all have grown to appreciate over the years.

Ali Almossawi, co-founder of Skyrill, explained that “the concept tries to revive the glorious design lines of the brand, combining fresh solutions, a unique, new aerodynamics, tailored around the electrical elements of the power system as well as cutting-edge energy feedback.”

Aesthetically speaking, the designers wanted to avoid the “heaviness associated with many of today’s muscle cars, including actual Jaguar models.” Instead, the team decided to recreate a thin, elegant profile, while still showing off all the extra power and technological improvements. The XKX’s profile is an organic flow of lines that look almost like the company’s “pouncing cat” logo on wheels.

Over on the technological side, the electronic vehicle has carefully designed aerodynamics, where air is deflected away from the engine and around the car itself, said to be 60 per cent more power efficient. Also, the entire car body is covered by a layer of piezoelectric cells. when stimulated by the pressure of air flowing over them during vehicle movement, the units produced electricity that is fed into the vehicle’s battery.

Guy Uses Giant Excavator Like A Boss To Build Tiny Truck Out Of Legos (Video)

Legos are probably one of the only non-digital toys children still play with. There’s something timeless about the gratification of building something out of those tiny, plastic blocks. Even some adults enjoy building with Legos, although most prefer a challenge, like building bigger sculptures, or using a tool other than hands. Juha-Pekka Perämäki chooses the latter to keep […]

Throughout her life, the disproportionate doll has endured major criticism for being an unrealistic figure for children, namely little girls, to idolize. Despite the controversies and her many, […]

Disappointed Little Girl Tells Obama She Wanted To Meet Beyoncé Instead (Video)

When President Obama dropped by a charter school to help package donations for the homeless, one brave student told him she’d thought the surprise visitor would be Beyoncé. The disappointed girl has a point. Obama is President of the United States, sure, but Beyoncé is Queen of the Beyhive. Obama just laughs, telling her that […]

This 2-Year-Old Choreographer Has More Swag Than You Ever Will (Video)

If there’s one thing children have over adults, it’s that they genuinely don’t give a sh*t if they look silly or ridiculous. Adults often spend way too much time worrying about what other people think. That carefree nature is what makes them so damn charming. Take this tot, for instance. A 2-year-old dancer named Zaya […]
