If you’re tired of only hanging with your family and friends at home, maybe it’s time to consider extending the fun outdoors.

We’re not talking about your backyard – be it a modestly sized one or a 20-acre property – but about a platform that gracefully cruises the seas. Need a particular example? Here it is: the 30-meter (98-foot) Quintessential catamaran by Yachting Developments.

Research and planning for the project started back in 2004, but the vessel was only completed last year (2012) and officially unveiled in June, in Auckland, New Zealand.

The catamaran is large enough to transport and accommodate 10 people, which makes it a perfect location for fun and entertainment, especially when it comes to lavish parties on sea.

Other two brands that worked together to help complete the project were Superyacht Interiors New Zealand – who obviously took care of the plush interiors – and Southern Spars.

Together, these companies created a technologically advanced vessel with top notch engineering and superb design. The team of specialists that offered input for the catamaran also included MCM, and Doyle Sails.
