Disney Princes Would Be So F*cking Sexy If They Were Actually Real Men (Photos)
I was pretty obsessed with Disney movies as a kid.
However, the only downside to these fairytale films is they often give unrealistic expectations about men.
I spent most of my childhood daydreaming about my ultimate crush and future husband: Prince Charming.
But with age, I've come to find real guys are pretty disappointing when you compare them to the handsome, brave princes who always swooped in and saved the day.
That is, until now.
Jirka Väätäinen recently set out to create a series of stunning portraits featuring realistic versions of your favorite Disney dudes, and I must say, these noble princes look just as dreamy IRL as I imagined they would.
Väätäinen told Cosmopolitan he came up with the idea to create humanized versions of these iconic fairytale characters in 2011 after wondering what Ursula, the villainous octopus character from "The Little Mermaid," would look like as a real person.
Having grown up with a lot of these characters, the sense of nostalgia made it such a fascinating and fun personal project to explore and carry on with.
Since then, he reimagined a variety of Disney characters, but I think most of us would agree his smoking hot princes are the best illustrations in the series by far.
