These Insane Egg Waffle Ice Cream Cones Are The Perfect Dessert

Thanks to the #FoodPorn revolution, there's no shortage of innovative eats out there.

Remember when we showed you those insane egg waffle taco creations?

Well, if you've been dreaming about those blissful bites ever since the Fung Bros pop-up shop disappeared, I have some good news for you.

It turns out you can still get your hands on some egg waffle eats!

That's right. We recently came across an ice cream shop in New York City called Eggloo that takes waffle cones to the next level by turning the puffy, Hong Kong-style pastries into all sorts of decadent ice cream treats.

OK, so maybe these are technically ice cream cones instead of ice cream tacos, but hey, they're basically the same thing.

The shop offers a variety of sweet and savory egg waffle flavors that can be loaded up with hard ice cream or soft serve and decked out in an assortment of toppings ranging from mochi and fresh berries to Fruity Pebbles, Oreo cookies, chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

Eggloo's cones are seriously photogenic, so it's no surprise these things are blowing up on social media.

Elite Daily recently had the chance to stop by the ice cream shop and get the inside scoop on how Eggloo makes these Instagram-worthy eats.

Check out the pictures below to see the delicious process.

Eggloo starts out by pouring its signature egg waffle batter onto a special iron.

After the batter is griddled to puffy, golden perfection, the waffle is carefully removed from the iron…

Then, the egg waffle cones are loaded with ice cream…

…and topped with all sorts of tasty treats like mochi, fresh fruit, cookie crumbles and Fruity Pebbles.

These crazy waffle cones are definitely an ice cream game-changer.
