In case you’re unaware, Taco Bell is looking to reinvent how America wakes up every morning with its new breakfast menu.

The taco franchise known for its cheesy Gordita Crunch and Doritos Locos Tacos is now offering up items like the AM Crunchwrap, Cinnamon Delights and Waffle Tacos.

In a recent advertisement for its new breakfast menu, Taco Bell took a direct shot at McDonald’s, which is known to have one of the best breakfast menus in the fast food industry.

It looks like the real Ronald McDonald caught wind of Taco Bell’s sneak attack and took to his chain’s Facebook page to respond.

This response? Well, it’s only the funniest and somewhat cruel thing you’ll ever see! The photo features a Gidget look alike. Gidget was the name of the original Taco Bell dog, who unfortunately passed away in 2009. Next to the Gidget look alike is a big, scary Ronald McDonald.

“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery,” reads the Facebook photo’s caption.

Check out a screen shot of the post below for a closer look! Who do you think won the breakfast menu battle?!
