Lifestyle — The Perfect Sweet Treats To Get You Buzzed Off Of Dessert
by Sierra Jiminez

Dessert is pretty much the best part of any meal.

But when you add alcohol to your favorite sweet treat, get ready to be in taste-bud heaven. I'm not talking about a piece of cake with a hint of bourbon in it. No, I'm talking about foods that will make your mouth water and get you tipsy at the same time.

Tip 1: Make a sorbet cocktail.

What You'll Need:

2 scoops of sorbet ¼ cup of fruit of your choice 1 ounce of citrus vodka Lime and mint for garnish

Start by choosing a glass that allows you to stick a straw in it. Add a couple of scoops of your favorite sorbet and about a fourth of a cup of sliced fruit to the glass. (I prefer strawberries and blueberries.)

Pour about an ounce — or more, if you're really going for it — of your favorite citrus vodka, and add some lime zest and mint for garnish.

Voilà! You've essentially made an adult “ice cream” float.

Tip 2: Try an “ice cream” sandwich.

What you'll need:

2 packets of your favorite instant pudding mix 2 cups of milk 6 ounces of your choice of alcohol 1 package of your favorite cookies

In a large bowl, empty out the contents of two instant pudding packets. (I like chocolate pudding for this recipe, but I'm also madly obsessed with chocolate.)

Add your milk and alcohol to the bowl, and whisk until everything has dissolved. If you're making this recipe with vodka, I highly suggest choosing a flavored vodka, like chocolate or marshmallow, to cut the taste of the liquor.

Freeze your concoction for about three hours (or overnight, if you want to make sure your “ice cream” stays frozen). Once the mixture is ready, spoon it onto your favorite cookies, and smoosh the cookies together into sandwiches.
