The Cronut Creator Just Created The Most Important Dessert Ever: The Milk And Cookie Shot

Robert Anthony

In case you’re bored of the everyday pastries and sweet treats that are available to you at various bakeries and stories in your neighborhood, something new is being introduced to us this year.

Dominique Ansel, the respected pastry chef who brought us the “cronut,” a croissant-doughnut hybrid, is reinventing the way we eat milk and cookies. How, you ask?

Well, let’s just say it starts with a shot glass made out of a chocolate chip cookie with milk inside of it. Sounds delicious already, doesn’t it?! Too bad we’ll have to wait until March 9 at this year’s SXSW event in Austin, TX where it will debut for the very first time. Whomp!

The inspiration stems from the time Ansel tried an Oreo for the very first time about a week ago and felt the need to dunk it in milk.

First off, it’s pretty amazing that he’s showing up this late to the Oreo party, but at the same time, why would he even need to try an Oreo when he’s killing the cookie game with things like shot glasses made out of pure cookie dough?!

After the debut of this new concoction, expect to see them everywhere, but remember to stop by Dominique Ansel’s bakery in NYC whenever you’re in town, you won’t regret it.
