Casey Durkin is a TV host, model, and actress who has recently started touring as a stand-up comedian. The blonde Boston native spent most of high school in detention. When she did show up, she won awards in art and writing. At 17, she was inducted into the St. Johns Writer’s Guild of America.

After high school, Durkin studied Fine Art at the Pratt Institute, then headed West to finish her degree at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Casey started modeling during college and won Miss Los Angeles USA in 2005. She went on to host an online travel show for Maxim Online called Maxim on the Prowl, where she went club hopping in a bikini and interviewed drunk girls.
Casey has also opened suitcases on Deal or No Deal, and has been in music videos for Snoop Dogg, Christina Aguilera, and Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. With her newest venture, stand-up comedy, Casey recently sold out a comedy show at Mother Kelly’s in Long Island, and you can currently see her perform at Frank Foley’s Comedy Club in Worcester, Mass.
We had a chance to get to know a little more about the beautiful blonde beauty:
What is one interesting thing about your hometown or family we wouldn’t know?
Something interesting about my mother is that she an investigative journalist and environmental activist. She is published in Washington Post, The Hill, Bankers and Tradesmen, among many others. Through her work she is a liaison between State and Federal government and the public with forces on avian off-shore and marine life protecting Nantucket Sound.
Also my great uncle John Durkin is a US Senator. That is where the slogan ‘Keep Durkin Workin’ comes from: my uncle’s campaign. I use it for my modeling slogan. Im not sure how my family feels about that.
What are some of the most memorable experiences when you hosted Maxim’s On the Prowl? Such as the differences between your Hollywood trip in 2011 and Vegas trip in 2012?
I remember how fun the Russian girls at the W in LA were. They were there just to have a good time. The difference between LA and Vegas was the attitude. People in LA are opportunist dicks. In Vegas, everyone is trying to have fun. I’ll take a Vegas over LA any day.

Guys are getting carried away with plaid and flannels. And in no situation should a man be in a scarf. Unless it’s to wipe fingerprints. As for women, high waited jeans and shorts are matronly looking. Fringe is getting on my nerves lately too.
