Her passion for acting soon got her accepted into one of the most prestigious art schools in the West: Orange County High School of the Arts (OCHSA), concentrating her round-the-clock studies on acting and drama courses. After graduating high school, Tara moved to Los Angeles and promptly began booking steady film, television, commercial, and print jobs.

Continued dedication to developing her career allowed Tara to graduate top of her class at the Sanford Meisner Studio, where she trained to perfect her craft with uncommon discipline. Miss Holt has continued to distinguish herself as a fresh face with range and talent far beyond her years.

We had a chance to get to know a little more about Tara. This is how a hot girl thinks:

What is the best city you’ve been to?

Best cities I’ve been to include Manhattan New York, Sydney Australia, New Orleans Louisiana, and Miami Florida, but my all time favorite city is still my hometown, Newport Beach, Cali baby- nothing compares.

How important is style when it comes to representing who you are? Why?

I believe style is your trademark and something your able to get to know someone by. Before even speaking a word, you already know a little about a person simply based on their style. It’s important to always look your best because not only does it bring self confidence, but you never know what your day may bring. Living in Hollywood, CA, there are opportunities around every corner and if your style isn’t on point you might get looked right past. Your style is a reflection of your personality so always express yourself.

What’s the biggest grooming mistake a guy can make?

Hmm grooming mistake? Definitely bad breath and BO are the biggest grooming mistakes a man can make. When a cute guy comes up to talk to me and his breath or body odor is unbearable I’m immediately turned off. Also, a guy should always remembered to keep his nose hairs trimmed, Just sayin’..

What types of styles should never be put together?

Well I know it’s cliche but stripes and plaids together will always be a NO GO in my book. Also denim on denim should be forever left in the 80′s.

What is the biggest turn on in a guy? turn off? Turn on?

The biggest turn on in a guy would have to be self confidence and security. When a man is secure within himself despite his bad hair day or whatever might be going wrong it’s an automatic turn on. Im also a sucker for a warm inviting smile and an infectious laugh. The biggest turn off is when a guy comes on too strong, dropping lame pick up lines and trying to close the deal in the first ten minutes of meeting me. Too many texts and calls are also annoying, leave a little chase! If we are interested trust me, we’ll let you know.

Who should pay on the first date?

I think the man should always pay on the first date, call me old fashioned but that’s what I believe.

How would you describe your style in 3 words?

Classy Bohemian Chic.

What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby? Haha it’s really hard to chose just one, but I’d have to narrow it down to photography and snowboarding. Capturing amazing images behind my canon rebel is definitely top on my list when I have down time, and of course during the winter I feel most free boarding down the slopes full speed ahead and hitting the jumps.

If you could work with someone, (celebrity) who would it be?

I would have to say Charlize Theron because I feel I could learn so much from her as an actress model superstar. She’s so classy talented and elegant I would just want to pick her brain! Theron has the ability to play such diverse roles and murder them! After seeing Charlize play serial killer, Aileen Wuornos, in ‘Monster,’ I was completely blown away. Not only did she morph on the inside to play this character but gained a lot of weight and literally mirrored Aileen’s appearance. I hope one day I have the pleasure of working with such a talented woman.

Who are your role models?

My role models include Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron, Adam Sandler, Rachel Mcadams, Mila Kunis and Quentin Tarantino to name a few but most of all my beautiful mother who has single handedly raised four kids on her own, each of which have put her through hell (including myself !) without her I wouldn’t be the woman I am today nor would I be blessed with the greatest mother, best friend, life coach, therapist, shoulder to cry on, role model ever.
