We had a chance to get to know a little more about Alyshia:

How would you describe your style in 3 words?

Laid back , Feminine, sexy.

What is your favorite hobby?

My favourite hobby would probably be my work, I love being a makeup artist and model, besides that just relaxing, I love watching comedies, either as a movie or show, SHAMELESS is the best show around hahaha.

If you could work with someone, (celebrity) who would it be?

I would love to work alongside Tiffany Toth during a photoshoot or an event, I think she is absolutely amazing and I love her personality. What a strong and gorgeous woman, and she’s all natural!

When a guy asks you “Where are you from?” What is one interesting thing about your hometown or family we wouldn’t know?

I would probably answer by saying, I don’t consider myself to have a hometown, my father was RCMP ( Royal Canadian Mounted Police) and we moved around about ever 1-2 years when I was a child.

Is modeling your number one priority? What is your true passion?

Modeling is absolutely without a doubt my number one priority. I love being creative, and capturing an image that lasts a life time. Makeup is also my other true passion, which I also do . It’s great that both my dreams involve each other and help me to network.

To those who find modeling vain, what would say to them to convince them modeling is worth it?

I don’t think it is at all, I think people that don’t think they could model seem to think that a lot, and think the standards are too high. I am only 5’2, I am 105 lbs (which for my height is by no means a stick) and I am all natural. I am proud of who I am and work with what I have. I think modeling really helps you to appreciate the body you are given and work at it .

What approach should a guy use that grabs your attention right off the bat?

Confidence, and certainty. I find it super attractive when a guy has enough confidence to go after what he wants, and knowing that he can get it, although sometimes they do it the wrong way and using aggression is one of them.

It seems like guys and girls are always looking to pick up the opposite sex in the wrong places, where should a guy go to pick a girl like you?

That’s a tough one, haha I don’t go out often and when I was single, the last place I would look for a guy is the bar. I definitely think through friends is my preferred way, especially in this industry it is hard to know who wants you for what reasons.

Otherwise somewhere casual, you can meet a girl like me anywhere, especially running errands. I love to cook so the grocery store is somewhere I spend a lot of time.

Worst style a man can have?

The worst style a man can have is NO STYLE, I hate miss matched outfits, boys stripes and plaid are not cool in my books. Also not a big fan of ed hardy sparkly shirts for men.
