Hawaii Is Home To The Most Legendary Water Slide Of All Time, But It's Illegal (Video)

by Robert Anthony

If you were to journey to Oahu, you'd find a working reservoir that serves 126 acres of agricultural land in the city of Waimanalo. The only thing unique about this working reservoir is the fact that people use it as a water slide.

As you might be able to guess, that's completely illegal! However, you'll be able to see exactly why people would go so far as to hop over the barbed wire fence and illegally trespass onto this water slide.

According to Huffington Post, there are a bunch of viral videos floating around the Web that were uploaded by the daredevils who successfully spent a small fraction of their summer breaking the rules in Waimanalo.

Despite how awesome this water slide might look, the plastic liner, which enables the whole sliding thing, is pretty dangerous. People have gotten cut from it.

On top of that, Elijah Martin, a Facebook commenter, revealed that he's paralyzed from the neck down after sliding down this reservoir and landing the wrong way.

Despite these claims, people have still tested their luck. Unfortunately for them, there has been quite a solid amount of rainfall in Waimanalo this year, which means the reservoir is at full capacity. Can't slide there anymore!
