Forget Those So-Called 'Hoverboards,' This Homemade Hoverbike Is The Future

Let's be real here: Those two-wheeled "hoverboards" everyone's obsessed with aren't actually hovering at all.

As a matter of fact, they should have never been called hoverboards in the first place. If anything, they're handlebar-less scooters that have done nothing more than clutter my Instagram feed.

In a recent video uploaded to YouTube by Colin Furze, we're introduced to a homemade hoverbike that actually hovers above the ground (like anything prefixed with the word "hover-" should)!

The video's description reads,

What a creation. It's an unhinged flying bike/human blender but, unbelievably, it gets off the ground and actually flies!

In less than 24 hours, the video of Furze's homemade hoverbike racked up over 300,000 views. It's safe to say we're all still fascinated by things that can REALLY fly... unlike that dangerous "sky walker" thing.
