Sometimes it’s okay to mix and match, and this is one of those times. Artist Thomas Kinkade has created a few unique paintings that feature scenic backgrounds being invaded by the Imperial forces from “Star Wars.” From Storm Troopers to battleships, the scenic paintings are bombarded by all kinds of crazy things.

You’re going to want to be extremely careful next time you’re in the suburbs; R2D2 might be hitchhiking on the side of the road, or maybe you’ll get decapitated by a battleship flying too close to land!

“I am really the most controversial artist in the world.” – Thomas Kinkade

Check out the collection of photos below. We think these would make for great framed prints around the office.

The Force Is With These Kids: There’s Now A Jedi School In The UK

The force is strong in this next story. A self-proclaimed Light Saber Combat Academy, Ludosport, opened in Cheltenham, England. There, “Star Wars” nerds can learn how to fight with a light saber. Of course, light sabers aren’t real, so the students use a lightweight sword that makes noise when it comes in contact with another sword. […]
