While some of us quickly book flights to nearby "sanctuaries" like Miami or Las Vegas, it's important to remember there's more out there -- way more.

In a recent video uploaded to YouTube by mikeyk730, we're introduced to Jellyfish Lake in Palau. At first sight, the lush greens surrounding the vibrant blue waters don't even hint at the thousands of jellyfish swimming below the surface.

But they're there, and it's amazing.

The video's description reads,

A place like Palau's Jellyfish Lake is a [reminder] of how wondrous the world can be. Swimming with literally millions of jellyfish was absolutely surreal -- a reminder that there will always be surprises out there!
