People Are Posting The Last Texts They Ever Sent To Their Loved Ones (Photos)
Nothing haunts a person quite like the last words he or she ever said to someone else.
Oftentimes, that final message tends to linger in his or her thoughts, and continues to replay in his or her mind long after the conversation concludes.
If there's one person who knows this, it's Emily Trunko.
This insightful 15-year-old is the curator of the heart-rending Tumblr page, The Last Message Received.
As you may have guessed from the name, The Last Message Received features a collection of text-message conversations revealing the final words texted from exes, former BFFs and loved ones who died.
The page includes everything from unfinished conversations plagued with words left unsaid to text-message breakups and some painfully-truthful texts from exes, all of which are pretty much guaranteed to make you teary-eyed.
So, what inspired Trunko to start this interesting text message project?
Trunko told BuzzFeed she's "always been fascinated with glimpses into the lives of other people."
The Tumblr series also made Trunko view her own daily conversations from a new perspective.
She said,
Every message I send... could be the last one I ever exchange, and every message I receive could be the last one I receive.
