Luxury Yachting Club Villas, Crete
Completed back in 2008 the Luxury Yachting Villas where designed by Swedish architects of the architectural practice of Davide Macullo Architect. The contemporary villas can be found on the Greek island of Crete as a part of the Elounda Beach Resort.

The goal of the Swedish architects was to have these villas act as a link that blurs the boundaries between land and sea. The sight of the uninterrupted view across the Aegean Sea to the horizon is both vast and intimate.

The new pathways between bungalows allows for open views of the sea and easy access to the patios.

The Swedish architects did not hold anything back when creating these villas. The spa like features of the bathrooms really provide a relaxing ambiance.

One unique feature about these villas is the natural dark grey stone exterior wall cladding that keeps in harmony with the environment. For those of us who are conscience of our environmental impact it would be good to know that the architects used natural materials throughout this project, for example wood and leather interiors.
