If you've ever been whale-watching, you know humpbacks can entertain for hours as they put on mesmerizing water shows with their blowholes while circling the ocean's surface just 50 feet away from you.

In a recent video uploaded to YouTube by Alaska Strike Zone Sportfishing, we're given a peek at the breathtaking moment when a massive humpback whale poked its head out above the surface to greet nearby whale feeders.

Imagine being just 5 feet away from a 66,000-pound whale as you stand on a narrow dock in the middle of Alaska.

Yup, it's just as intense as it sounds!

According to Mashable, the fishermen were whale-feeding at the Knudson Cove Marina in Ketchikan, Alaska when the hungry humpback circled the dock before popping up for some grub.

Who knew the fish were tasty near the dock despite all of the boats and machinery?!

The video's description reads,

Our (whale) friend has been feeding right in front of Knudson Cove Marina for the last 3 days!

Three days?! Well, it's safe to say this whale isn't leaving any time soon.
