Dog people love pups because of their abundance of energy and tireless joie de vivre.

Cat people, on the other hand, like cats for the exact opposite reason: The lazy little bums require no entertainment, as they're content simply sprawling out and getting their nap on.

But sometimes, cat owners want to have a little fun with their pets, too.

Some crafty pet owners have started spending time with their sleep-loving kitties in a new way -- by carrying the felines on their heads.

It's a win-win, really. The cats get to do what they do best (snooze) while the owners get to be with their kitties and soak up their furry warmth.

This stylin' trend has the added benefit of making it socially acceptable to bring your kitty out in public, which is, as far as I'm concerned, every cat owner's dream. Screw Dr. Suess' "Cat in the hat."
