You'll Soon Be Able To Buy The Pepsi From 'Back To The Future Part II'

by Robert Anthony

"Back to the Future" fanatics, rejoice!

It turns out the fictional, futuristic bottle of Pepsi portrayed in "Back to the Future Part II" is actually going to exist.

Remember the scene from the movie when Marty McFly finally arrived in the future and ordered up a $50 bottle of Pepsi Perfect? Well, according to The Hollywood Reporter, that beverage prop is going to become a reality.

Lou Arbetter, Pepsi's senior director of marketing, stated,

Fans have always been a little crazy about it. So, we wanted to take advantage of the fact that Marty traveled to the future, to this month, and wanted to actually come out with the product.

Pepsi will reportedly be releasing 6,500 bottles.

A special case comes with each bottle for safe keeping. If you are thinking of buying one, you might want to keep it sealed. After all, there will be no changes to the existing Pepsi formula -- only the bottle will change.

Looking for another way to get your hands on this limited-edition item? Pepsi will be attending New York Comic Con where the brand will be sponsoring a panel discussion themed after the film.

Every day, the first 200 fans who show up to the conference dressed as Marty McFly will get their own bottles of Pepsi Perfect.

Pepsi is teaming up with the film again -- this time, to make Pepsi Perfect a reality!

Starting October 21, 2015, the date Marty McFly traveled to in the film, fans will be able to purchase the drink online for $20.15.
