See The Incredible Differences In The Daily Food Intake Of People Around The World (Photos)

by Robert Anthony

Let's say a photographer were to ask you to pose for a photo with your daily meals -- what would those meals be?

What would the overall shot look like? Would it be evident that you eat a lot? Would it be clear that you have an addiction to snacks and fast food, or would people be calling you an omnivore before the shoot is over?

Photographers Peter Menzel and Faith D’Aluisio, who also happen to be married, traveled around the world and met people from all walks of life.

During their time with these people, they asked them to pose for photographs with their daily diets in front of them. The craziest part about the entire project is the caloric intake difference between people of different walks of life.

According to Urban Times, some people are consuming 800 calories a day, while others are consuming up to 12,000 calories! The photos can be found in Menzel and D’Aluisio's book, titled "What I Eat: Around The World In 80 Diets."
