This year the Grammys were preceded by the shocking news of Whitney Houston’s death.

While the music fraternity expressed their heartfelt condolences and were deeply saddened by the news, they did not let this affect the glamour and upbeat quotient at the Grammys.

The celebrities walked the red carpet in their finest gowns and sent the photographers into a tizzy.

Here’s a list of the best dressed at the Grammys 2012:

5. Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow looked stunning in a Stella McCartney gown. The gold belt is the apt accessory and side cut-outs reveal her perfect figure. The pulled back hair and minimal make-up look bring out the true diva in her.

4. Rihanna

Rihanna’s bold Armani gown goes well with her personality. It is flowy, revealing enough yet not much, and accentuates her figure.

3. Taylor Swift

She is the princess of the music world and this Zuhair Murad gown does justice to her royalty. Looking elegant, classy and carrying herself with elan, Taylor charmed everyone.

2. Adele

She not only won the maximum number of Grammys but she won the maximum number of hearts on the red carpet in her Giorgio Armani gown. The custom made black gown, the red lips and wavy short hair completed her 60s Hollywood look. We’re sure the man who broke her heart regrets his actions alright!

1. Carrie Underwood

Her claim to fame is American Idol and she has since been a country music favourite. She wore a classy Gomez-Gracia gown and put her best lady-like look forward at this years Grammys.

A New App Will Teach You To Speak The Language Of ‘Game Of Thrones’

One of my favorite aspects of “Game of Thrones” is all the different, original languages spoken by the characters. Dothraki, of course, is the major standout among the many tongues. There is now an app that will help you learn to speak Dothraki as well as Khaleesi or Khal Drogo. The app is meant to […]

Posing in just his underwear, Dan Davidson might be mistaken for soccer star David Beckham. Davidson, 26, has lost 56 pounds through careful eating and many hours at the gym. The carpenter once weighed over 230 pounds, drinking a bottle of vodka every weekend and eating nearly 6,000 calories each day. Davidson even admits that […]

There’s Actually A Course To Teach You How To Date At Boston College

There’s a popular scenario in a certain genre of film in which a college student (usually female) with poor time management skills and a tendency to procrastinate tells her professor (either a male or female) that she’ll do anything to get extra credit. It normally does not involve writing a paper. It might not be […]

There Are 7 Billion People On Earth, Do Not Let One Ruin Your Day

People: can’t live with ’em, can’t live without ’em. It’s almost like someone’s been playing a cruel joke on the human race — we get only one perspective to peer out of, yet have no choice but to deal with everyone else’s perspectives too. We only see the world through our own eyes, through our […]

3 Lies We Tell Ourselves That Ruin Our Chances At Productivity

Admit it: We’ve all lied. It’s never a good thing, under any circumstance. In many cases, we do it more harm to ourselves than we realize. We’re the perpetrators of the fibs, so we don’t see the repercussions. I’d like to bring three of the biggest lies we tell ourselves (sometimes on a daily basis) […]
