20 Thanksgiving Dinner Fails That'll Have You Ready To Order Takeout (Photos)

Thanksgiving is almost here, so you know what that means.

Your social media feeds are about to be inundated with all sorts of tantalizing turkeys, delectable dinner plates and pumpkin pie #foodporns.

At times, it almost seems like this food-filled holiday has turned into a competition to see who can post the most impressive uploads of their impeccably-prepared Thanksgiving meal.

However, the five-star entrees we see on social media tend to look a lot different than the pity plates we manage to put together IRL.

Let's face it, not all of us are blessed with the homemaking skills of Martha Stewart when it comes to hosting a fabulous feast.

Plus, I can tell you from personal experience, wingin' it doesn't really fly when it comes to cooking an impressive bird for the big day.

Apparently, I'm not the only one out there who has managed to single-handedly destroy Thanksgiving dinner on more than one occasion.

So in order to make you feel better about your sub-par cooking skills, we set out to find a bunch people who should probably stay the f*ck out of the kitchen on this hungry holiday.

Seriously, if there's one thing you should be thankful for, it's the fact you're not eating one of these struggle plates on Turkey Day.

Take a look at the pictures below to see some hilarious Thanksgiving cooking fails.

This bird is really feelin' the burn.

Yep, seems totally legit.

That's what you get for being bougie.

Hope you like your turkey meat extra dark.

Nailed it!

No casserole is complete without a layer of cremated marshmallows.

Black is the new orange.

Don't worry, I didn't save room for dessert anyway.

Last time I checked, the turkey was supposed to go inside the pan, not next to it.

And it wasn't supposed to look like a terrifying alien creature.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure you're doing it wrong.

Five-second rule!

Yep, this carrot cake totally looks just like the picture.

This is what happens when you try to wing it without reading the recipe.

Now that's one tasty looking turkey.

Damn you, apple pies!

I believe the directions said to bake until golden brown, not burn to a crisp.

Prison break: pie edition.

Martha Stewart's cookies have nothing on these artistic turkey treats.

Well then, takeout it is!
