If you were to hop in a time machine and go back in time about seven years, you’d probably be watching ESPN coverage on Michael Vick being indicted for running a highly illegal dogfighting ring. Most of the dogs were pit bulls who were forced to fight each other.

When the reports surfaced, not only did animal groups freak out, but so did everyone else. As a matter of fact, according to the Huffington Post, the Humane Society of the United States felt that the animals had been abused beyond rehabilitation.

Despite this, the Best Friends Animals Society disagreed with that claim, and took the pups in, who are now known as “Vicktory Dogs.”

“Currently 10 of the Vicktory Dogs are thriving with their adopted families, some living happily with other dogs, children and even a cat,” Michelle Weaver, a manager at BFAS told the Huffington Post.

From then until now, these dogs have been able to successfully recover from their vicious abuse, and it’s pretty fairy tale-like.

If you like happy endings, you’ll love the photos below that show the abused dogs living their new lives.

A Breakup Is Only A Failure If You Don’t Learn Something From It

As human beings, we make promises to each other all of the time. They can be as simple as promising not to leave our friends alone at the bar, or as complex as promising to love someone for the rest of time. Sometimes, the promises are concrete; we intertwine our pinkies with a sacred agreement […]

Hungover College Student Pukes In Class When Teacher Mentions Jägermeister

A hungover lecture is something that no college student wants to experience, but most people will have to endure at least one during their academic careers — like if you’re out of absences or overestimate your well-being when you get out of bed. On days like that, you really hope the professor is quiet, quick and […]

Finally, The Rock Is Ready To Save Some Jabronis In A ‘Baywatch’ Movie

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is going to be in a movie version of “Baywatch.” First of all, yes, apparently, “Baywatch” is becoming a full-length feature film. I don’t think there’s really anyone out there clamoring for 120 minutes of “Baywatch,” but I suppose there are worse options when it comes to this seemingly endless stream […]
