If you’ve never noticed this code, you’ll definitely be looking around for it after this. For years now, the numbers “A113″ have been popping up all over various Pixar movies like “Toy Story,” “Up” and “Finding Nemo,” just to name a few.
Eventually, the Internet caught on and everyone began searching for the code’s true meaning. However, once the code began popping up beyond just Pixar movies, things got even weirder. What does “A113″ actually stand for?
Check out screenshots of the movies it can be seen in below!
“A Bug’s Life”
Things got strange when the code moved beyond just Pixar movies. Here it is in the “The Brave Little Toaster.”
“The Princess and the Frog”
“The Iron Giant”
“Lilo & Stitch”
Things got even stranger when the code started popping up on TV shows like “American Dad.”
What did it mean? Is it some sort of alien code from outer space? Is it demonic? Is it some kind of cult? Nope.
It’s just the number of the room where a bunch of animators for Pixar, Disney and more got their start at the California Institute of Arts!

What happens when you combine an obsession with cats and a love for hip-hop? Apparently, you get Meow the Jewels, a deluxe new album from hip-hop duo Run the Jewels. It purrfectly swaps out all of the instrumentals for cat noises. Finally, a soundtrack that really speaks to all of the crazy cat ladies (and men) out there. But, it doesn’t […]
As everyone puts the finishing touches on their costumes and prepares for an epic night of trick-or-treating amid the cover of twilight, there are certain people just not feeling the Halloween spirit this year. I know; it’s hard to believe these people actually exist. You might be able to spot them right away by the fact their porch […]
What better way to show your love for something than to surround yourself with it? That’s the idea behind the one-of-a-kind dress that English beautician Sarah Bryan designed: It’s created entirely out of Skittles candy. Sweet! It took Bryan 180 hours to assemble the rainbow dress, which required more than 145 bags of the candy […]
Once Halloween is over, what’s a person to do with those half-rotten Jack-O-Lanterns and uncarved pumpkins sitting around the house? Ventrac, a company that produces small tractors, somehow ended up with 100 spare pumpkins and faced the same dilemma, albeit on a much larger scale. Its solution? Smash up the orange fruit (yup, pumpkin is a fruit) […]
Forget the traditional Jack-O-lanterns this Halloween. In honor of this haunting holiday, Pumpkin Sculpt USA transformed a massive 900-pound pumpkin at the Bronx Zoo into an intricate elephant sculpture. It’s just as cool as the time we showed you this T-Rex pumpkin. This incredible piece of pumpkin art was created to draw attention to the mission of 96 […]

NYPD officers who helped seal off the apartment of Ebola patient Dr. Craig Spencer last night were seen removing gloves and masks and placing them in a public trash can. What seems like an unspeakable act of ignorance is actually nothing to worry about, however, as the officers most likely did not enter Spencer’s apartment […]
Commitment can be a very scary thing for many young people, myself included. I am now at a stage in my life where I can be very committed, but I wasn’t this way just a year or two ago. I was a young 20-something dude with issues. I was a commitment-phobe who dated a lot of […]

The most notable teams with diehard fan bases are easy to name: the New England Patriots, the Boston Celtics and the like. Because in a discussion about hardcore, fanatical fans, the teams that first come to mind are usually the most successful ones. That’s not to diminish the fact that fans of a number of […]
Though Oscar de la Renta was perhaps best known for his opulent red-carpet designs, the late designer’s legacy includes one surprising career move. In 1978, the Dominican designer recreated the iconic olive and tan Boy Scout uniform. De la Renta donated his time to the organization and overhauled the uniforms, which previously had a military […]
