If you’ve never noticed this code, you’ll definitely be looking around for it after this. For years now, the numbers “A113″ have been popping up all over various Pixar movies like “Toy Story,” “Up” and “Finding Nemo,” just to name a few.
Eventually, the Internet caught on and everyone began searching for the code’s true meaning. However, once the code began popping up beyond just Pixar movies, things got even weirder. What does “A113″ actually stand for?
Check out screenshots of the movies it can be seen in below!
“A Bug’s Life”
Things got strange when the code moved beyond just Pixar movies. Here it is in the “The Brave Little Toaster.”
“The Princess and the Frog”
“The Iron Giant”
“Lilo & Stitch”
Things got even stranger when the code started popping up on TV shows like “American Dad.”
What did it mean? Is it some sort of alien code from outer space? Is it demonic? Is it some kind of cult? Nope.
It’s just the number of the room where a bunch of animators for Pixar, Disney and more got their start at the California Institute of Arts!

Listen up, nerds. I’ve got something awesome to show you. Patrick Priebe, a really smart guy with too much time on his hands, made a functional Iron Man gauntlet arm. This thing is amazing. It’s not the kind of festival you’re thinking about. There aren’t really any neon-colored beads or drugs. The annual International Highline Meeting festival takes place across the Italian Alps in Monte Piana and serves more as an adventurous camping trip than as a “festival.” In order to call this event “adventurous,” the organizers would have to think […]
Ever come across an interesting food concoction on the Internet and then try to make it at home? Most of the time, it goes horribly wrong. Here’s the scene: You’re in a bar with your buds and this girl walks in. It’s love at first sight. Well, it might not be love, but it’s definitely something. She’s universally beautiful and all of your boys know it. Clearly, you can smell the competitive spirits among all your boys brewing. Not so fast. […]
There are a lot of things you have to take into consideration when moving into a new place. Location and price are normally the biggest factors, but there are a lot of less obvious things that can be equally as important. Unfortunately, some of those important factors are almost entirely out of your control. While […]
This is a real ALS story. It doesn’t end in soaked clothing and scattered ice cubes, but rather in a wedding and a promise. Hollie met Adam while she was working as a nurse in Thousand Oaks, CA. Adam, suffering from Lyme disease, saw her three times a day. The pair formed an incredible bond […]
Walmart isn’t known as the classiest place in America — and for good reason. Sex-discrimination and racial lawsuits aside, the company’s poor treatment of its employees has recently been revealed. The superstore, which boasts over 8,500 stores worldwide, recently changed its dress code policy. According to Racked, the employees, despite the fact that nearly 30,000 of […]
