If you’ve never noticed this code, you’ll definitely be looking around for it after this. For years now, the numbers “A113″ have been popping up all over various Pixar movies like “Toy Story,” “Up” and “Finding Nemo,” just to name a few.
Eventually, the Internet caught on and everyone began searching for the code’s true meaning. However, once the code began popping up beyond just Pixar movies, things got even weirder. What does “A113″ actually stand for?
Check out screenshots of the movies it can be seen in below!
“A Bug’s Life”
Things got strange when the code moved beyond just Pixar movies. Here it is in the “The Brave Little Toaster.”
“The Princess and the Frog”
“The Iron Giant”
“Lilo & Stitch”
Things got even stranger when the code started popping up on TV shows like “American Dad.”
What did it mean? Is it some sort of alien code from outer space? Is it demonic? Is it some kind of cult? Nope.
It’s just the number of the room where a bunch of animators for Pixar, Disney and more got their start at the California Institute of Arts!

Who would want to hurt a snail? No one, hopefully. However, it’s pretty easy to accidentally step on one of those little guys without noticing. Due to the fact that these little snails blend in with the sidewalk and are pretty much impossible to spot ahead of time, these tragedies happen nearly every day, unfortunately. […]
Has anyone ever asked you what your dream job is, and you suddenly become self-aware? You want to voice what you dream of doing, but you’re so afraid you’ll never achieve this dream, so you change it to something more attainable. It has happened to me — a lot. You see, when I was little, I […]

The hiker, Gary Sizer, said on Reddit that the highlight of his trip from Georgia to Maine was easily the latter state, and despite the look on his face after the trip, he was […]
Nostalgia: It’s what defines our generation. While we claim we’re leading the way for a better future, we can’t stop hashtagging and obsessing about the past. Speaking of the past, remember that insanely scary show we all used to watch on Nickelodeon (even if we often watched with one eye open), “Are You Afraid Of […]
Skyscrapers and $95 million apartments in New York City are amazing and all, but can’t lighthouses get a little love, too?! For centuries now, lighthouses have been depended on by sea captions across the globe to help guide vessels through the treacherous waters. In a literal sense, these structures are the light at the end […]
The act of sex is one of life’s greatest pleasures. It’s pretty much why we all wake up when our alarm goes off, as opposed to fist-pounding the snooze button, and staying in bed. I mean, it’s human instinct to try and mate. Another human instinct, shifting gears a bit, is our impulse to discuss […]
