If you’ve never noticed this code, you’ll definitely be looking around for it after this. For years now, the numbers “A113″ have been popping up all over various Pixar movies like “Toy Story,” “Up” and “Finding Nemo,” just to name a few.
Eventually, the Internet caught on and everyone began searching for the code’s true meaning. However, once the code began popping up beyond just Pixar movies, things got even weirder. What does “A113″ actually stand for?
Check out screenshots of the movies it can be seen in below!
“A Bug’s Life”
Things got strange when the code moved beyond just Pixar movies. Here it is in the “The Brave Little Toaster.”
“The Princess and the Frog”
“The Iron Giant”
“Lilo & Stitch”
Things got even stranger when the code started popping up on TV shows like “American Dad.”
What did it mean? Is it some sort of alien code from outer space? Is it demonic? Is it some kind of cult? Nope.
It’s just the number of the room where a bunch of animators for Pixar, Disney and more got their start at the California Institute of Arts!

Architect Bjarke Ingels believes Lego building blocks, and their proportions, represent “the golden ratio of architecture.” In that case, it only makes sense that the new Lego visitor center in Billund, Denmark, will look like it was constructed by a giant toddler with unlikely architectural prowess. The first six foundational stones of the building were […]
Over the past few weeks, print publications around the world have been covering the crisis in Ferguson through text-heavy articles and photojournalism. However, Bloomberg Businessweek and Time hit the nail on the head with the magazines’ most recent front page covers reporting on the controversial topic. Scott Olson, a photographer and journalist who was arrested in […]
What if we told you there’s a restaurant where every dish features bacon? Well, there is! It’s called Bar Brutus and you’d have to go to Montreal to experience such a heavenly place, but hey, it’s probably worth it. After all, this is bacon — on everything — we’re talking about. You’ve seen them bravely strutting down the sidewalk on your drive to grab a cup of coffee. Despite how chilly the morning air might be, or how badly their makeup is smeared, you’ve probably never felt compassion for them. Well, maybe just a little bit. You’ve probably been in their shoes (or lack thereof) before. […]
Dogs, just like most humans, love summer. More specifically, they love pool parties and they’re not afraid to show it! We recently came across an awesome video of an actual dog pool party taking place at a doggy daycare located in Maybee, Michigan. The daycare, “Lucky Puppy,” is known for their pet-friendly, in-ground pool, three […]

Did you ever think that going to college would make you worse off than you were when you first started applying? The answer to that question, at least for me, was no. However, new research from Gallup indicates that high levels of student-loan debt are challenging more than just our economic well-being. The survey looked […]
Dear Bros, Let’s have ourselves a little chat. First topic of discussion: your gross abuse of the word “epic.” While we respect your wild, over-the-top nights out partying and your amazing, unparalleled back-court shot and your gargantuan double-stuffed roast beef sandwich that closely resembles Jesus, can you please find another word to describe these phenomena? […]
I’m not a fan of Beyoncé (gasp — I know) but the woman was onto something when she recorded “If I Were A Boy.” As much as we love being women, there are many things we envy about the opposite sex. Sure, it may be easier for us to sweet talk our way out of speeding […]
Taylor Swift is apparently a fan of Chipotle. Enough so that she was willing to give a fan $90 to eat at the Mexican restaurant chain. Swift not only took pictures with fans during a visit to Central Park, but also left one supporter with a generous parting gift. The interaction was confirmed on Twitter […]
We hear more stories every day about how great of a guy Robin Williams truly was. It’s hard to believe that a man with so much kindness could feel such deep sorrow. Alas, the actor is gone, but his acts of courage and generosity remain. Now, we have one more to add to the pile. Shortly before […]
Lionel Messi, FC Barcelona’s star forward, has bigger problems than his national team’s recent loss to Germany in the World Cup final. A Barcelona court is prosecuting the soccer player for tax evasion. Messi, who reportedly earns over $40 million a season, is one of the highest-paid athletes in the world. His contract ranks behind Floyd Mayweather, Cristiano […]
