If you’ve never noticed this code, you’ll definitely be looking around for it after this. For years now, the numbers “A113″ have been popping up all over various Pixar movies like “Toy Story,” “Up” and “Finding Nemo,” just to name a few.
Eventually, the Internet caught on and everyone began searching for the code’s true meaning. However, once the code began popping up beyond just Pixar movies, things got even weirder. What does “A113″ actually stand for?
Check out screenshots of the movies it can be seen in below!
“A Bug’s Life”
Things got strange when the code moved beyond just Pixar movies. Here it is in the “The Brave Little Toaster.”
“The Princess and the Frog”
“The Iron Giant”
“Lilo & Stitch”
Things got even stranger when the code started popping up on TV shows like “American Dad.”
What did it mean? Is it some sort of alien code from outer space? Is it demonic? Is it some kind of cult? Nope.
It’s just the number of the room where a bunch of animators for Pixar, Disney and more got their start at the California Institute of Arts!

Remember stocking up every sticker you could get your hands on just to strategically place it somewhere on your MacBook? You just couldn’t do the same thing with a desktop computer. A lot of times, it didn’t even matter what the sticker meant. It just had to be a sticker that helped crowd the exposed, […]
In my experience, house parties normally supply some cheap beer or a mixed drink that’s just a horribly imbalanced combination of fruit punch and Smirnoff. The people in this video, though, know how to make a real party drink that extends far beyond the realms of disgusting vodka and a chaser. Starting by cutting up […]

Designers Dmitry Patsukevich and Constantin Bolimond created a special packaging called Wine, or maybe not? about 25 years ago. The bottles are designed with colors resembling Marge and Homer Simpson with inspiration from artist and painter Piet Mondrian’s work of the 80s. Actual […]

Well Knicks fans, it looks like all hope is officially gone. While Phil Jackson made an encouraging move yesterday after trading away Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton to create more cap flexibility, it seems like the battle to keep Carmelo Anthony may have just been lost. R Kelly knows a thing or two about career […]
Buckle up, geeks. The BBC just premiered a new trailer for season eight of “Doctor Who,” and it looks awesome. This season sees Peter Capaldi taking over as the new Doctor. The first episode airs on Sunday, August 23. To be honest, I’ve never seen an episode of Doctor Who. But everyone I speak to […]

This chalk drawing uploaded by Tumblr user jennwitte puts the Supreme Court’s controversial ruling in perspective, reminding us that our health and safety most definitely aren’t the paramount concerns of the men we trust to make laws. Politicians and activists have been trying to get laws passed that would make it harder to buy a […]
