Being a barber is a lot harder than it looks.

Many people make the mistake of trusting a family member with a haircut. It never works out because it actually takes skill and prior knowledge to get the job done. However, we recently came across one barber whose haircuts blew us away.

If you’re looking for something over-the-top and eye-catching, you might want to head over to Rob the Original, a San Antonio-based master barber.

He’s made quite a name for himself after creating a series of portraits on the back of people’s heads using just his razors, hair clippers and a bit of color.

He’s illustrated NBA stars like LeBron James and Tim Duncan, as well as musicians like Tupac Shakur and Michael Jackson. His most recent work was done to celebrate the World Cup in Brazil. Soccer start like Messi and Ronaldo were showcased by Rob the Original not too long ago.

Check out the photos below for a closer look at this amazing artwork!

When the droves of Seahawks fans, who just learned what “L.O.B.” means last week, or waves of X-team-that-does-surprisingly-well come out of the woodworks, you can expect for them to be publicly and ruthlessly […]

We May Love The Fantasy Of YA Novels, But Boring Love Stories Are The Best Kind

I’m not the only 20-something in the world who loves John Green. Especially during the past few years, I’ve become acutely aware of this fact. His stories are compulsively readable — not dissimilar from the way YA novels tend to be. Yet somehow, he manages to insert insight and intelligence in a way most YA […]

This Is What Your Favorite Movies And TV Shows Would Look Like As Children’s Books (Photos)

Artist Joey Spiotto has reimagined your favorite movies and TV shows as children’s books. Specifically, he’s turned films like “Pulp Fiction” and shows like “Game of Thrones” into his own versions of Random Houses’ classic “Little Golden Books” series. The book covers he’s dreamt up aren’t just amazing, they’re also adorable. Honestly, if I had […]
