Love “Harry Potter”? You might want to head over to China and figure out how to enroll in one of their universities that’s being designed to look almost exactly like Hogwarts.
The structure, located in Xinle City, features the likenesses and architectural style of the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry shown in the movies. It even includes a massive clock tower.
According to Daily Mail, the Alnwick Castle in Northumberland was used to depict the school using CGI enhancements in the movies.
From the looks of China’s new university, it seems the film editing crew can put the CGI to rest. This is as close as it gets to the real deal!
The university will be fully active later this year, but there has been no word on exactly what the school will teach or specialize in. I’m guessing Defense Against the Dark Arts.
