A handwritten letter in which Albert Einstein questioned the existence of God is going up for sale on EBay, with bids starting at $3 million.

The “God letter”, which the physicist wrote in German a year before his death in 1955, includes his thoughts on religion, God and tribalism.

Einstein sent the letter, written on Princeton University letterhead, to Eric B. Gutkind on Jan. 3, 1954 concerning Gutkind’s book, Choose Life: The Biblical Call to Revolt.

The letter was first bought by a bidder in London in 2008 for just over $400,000 and has since been stored in a special facility with a controlled environment.

Wasabi Toothpaste Is A Thing In Japan, But It Shouldn’t Be (Photo)

Toothpaste has pretty much tasted the same for years now. Of course, brands like Crest and Colgate have tried to shake the market up a bit with cinnamon and bubble gum-flavored toothpastes, but, over time, those became pretty basic, too. That’s why Japan is stepping in to create wasabi toothpaste. According to Time, Japanese retailer Village Vanguard […]

It’s everything you could wish for in a drinking and smoking device. If you’re one of those fearless […]

Do You: Why Who We Choose To Be Is Ultimately Who We Really Are

It’s easy to say you are a product of circumstance, and it’s easy to define yourself according to your past. My parents did this, and I responded this way; my school taught me this, and I responded like that, etc. It’s easy to define yourself by what created you. We are so immersed in our […]

NYPD Officer Reads Law Permitting Subway Musician, Arrests Him Anyway (Video)

The NYPD’s mantra is to serve and protect. But, based on this infuriating video, they have no interest in doing either of those things. Andrew Kalleen, a subway performer, was harmlessly playing guitar on a platform in Brooklyn when a police officer began to harass him. The officer attempted to eject Kalleen from the premises, […]

This Is What A Home On Mars Is Going To Look Like (Photos)

It’s not too far off to assume that in the future, humans will occupy space on other planets. In fact, scientists are already planning for our extraterrestrial moves. For over a year, NASA has been testing out potential habitats suitable for living on Mars. NASA built a prototype habitat in Hawaii to see how space […]

The Story Behind How A Rooster Ended Up As The Symbol On Sriracha Bottles

Huy Fong Foods’ Sriracha hot sauce bottle is iconic: a little green cap set atop a fiery red bottle. The spicy condiment is often called “rooster sauce” for the brand’s strutting mascot, emblazoned across the front of every bottle. Until now, its origin has been a mystery. In a recent interview with Modern Farmer, Huy […]
