If you already have a personal jet, then maybe your next flying machine should be a helicopter. And here is our suggestion: the new AW109GN model by Augusta Westland. It’s brand new (completed in 2011), and it only has 25 hours of flight time, all realized during tests.

The aircraft boasts a luxurious 5-place VIP interior and a total capacity of six people, pilot included. It is US registered and certified, and it comes with CVR/FDR installed, full factory training, and a warranty that’s valid until June 2014.

The AW109GN also features double layer windows, super silent soundproofing, 8 active noise cancelling headsets, cabin air conditioning and heating system, pulsed chip detectors, two engine compartment fire extinguishers, baggage compartment extension (2.3m), and a cruising speed of 140 kt.

Other features include 213 US gallon fuel system instead of standard 152 US gallon fuel system, rotor brake, Honeywell RDR-2000 weather radar displayed on EFIS and left and right hand electric passenger step, retractable / controllable nose mounted landing light, high intensity strobe lights on horizontal stabilizer, and more.
