Ducati’s 1098 is nothing short of a monster right from the factory, but when individuals like Robert Matola get a hold of one, it transforms into a real work of art.

Don’t get us wrong, the 1098 is a beautiful bike right off the showroom, but this Demonico Veloce is the perfect way to bring a vintage feel to new generation machine.

Robert Matola of R.M. Designs in California is the mastermind behind the Demonico Veloce, which stands for speed demon in Italian.

The bike has shed about 30 pounds in excess weight, and has been outfitted with a lightweight exhaust system, headlight fairing, and rear cowling. The bike sports an all black paint job paying homage to Italy with several red, white, and green accents scattered throughout.
