Manchester-based interior designers Curve Interior Design have completed the Dunham Mount project. Completed in 2012, the contemporary apartment can be found in Altrincham, Cheshire, England.
According to the designers: “A magnificent stone built Victorian Mansion tastefully converted into thirteen luxury apartments and two houses, offering two and three bedroom accommodation, set in the beautiful surroundings of the Devisdale Conservation Area. Curve have been contracted to fit out Poliform wardrobes in each of the properties.
“After previous successes at Arley Hall and Trevelyn Manor, Curve have designed the show property at Dunham. The interior designers have put together a smart, sophisticated scheme across the three bed room apartment.
“The luxury English property was furnished with a stunning scheme, taking inspiration from the beautiful converted building. Classic furniture combines with subtle colours such as the amber and silver, and a combination of matt and gloss blacks in the living areas.
A combination of custom built pieces, design classics and high quality decoration complete the look. In the master bedroom an eye catching wallpaper, textured fabrics and bursts of blue add interest to the soft, comfortable feel. Further bedrooms were designed with similar tasteful palettes, the brief being to have a broad appeal to all potential customers.”
The contemporary living room has also been shortlisted for ‘LivingEtc room of the year’ in the Northern Design Awards.
