Frank Ocean And Rita Ora Set To Open Coldplay’s European Tour

Frank Ocean and Rita Ora are bringing their music to the masses. The much-buzzed-about newcomers will join Coldplay on the band’s stadium tour through Europe this summer. The 22-date trek kicks off May 18 in Porto, Portugal, before traveling through France, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, and other European countries with various opening acts including Ocean, Ora, Robyn, Ash, and Marina & the Diamonds.

Jay-Z’s friendship with frontman Chris Martin helped score his Roc Nation signee Ora an opening spot. The blonde singer will tour with the band in May and June in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, and the U.K. Her debut is due this summer featuring the singles “How We Do (Party)” and the Drake-penned “R.I.P.”

Odd Future crooner Ocean, who covered Coldplay’s “StrawberrySwing” on his debut Nostalgia, Ultra, will join the tour when it hits Denmark, Sweden, France, and Germany in August and September.
