When You And Your BFF Show Up To A Party Wearing The Same Outfit

The holiday season is upon us. And by that we mean, the holiday PARTY season is upon us.

Let's be honest, between the food, the fashion and the potential for unexpected drama, holiday parties are the true meaning of this joyous season.

But there's nothing that leads to party drama faster than showing up in the same outfit as someone else. It doesn't matter if it's your BFF or your mortal enemy, an unintentional matching moment isn't just irritating, it's downright humiliating.

Worst of all, it threatens the individuality that every fashionista strives for. I mean, we all love to think we're unique and delightfully different from anyone and everyone else in the world, but let's be real — it's far from true. With 7 billion people on this planet, there's bound to be some overlap (okay, a lot of overlap). This means that one of these days, more likely than not, you're going to end up walking into a party only to come face-to-face with someone wearing the same exact fabulous outfit that you're rocking.

But before you get all “girl-stole-my-look” and ignite some of that drama that we all (not so) secretly live for, consider this: What provides a better photo-op than an accidental twinning moment? We can't think of anything. So put the claws away and embrace the faux pas. If nothing else, do it for the 'gram.

Or don't, like the ladies in this video, who showed up to the hottest party of the season wearing the same Coach Rexy Sweater. Watch as they serve up some of that mouthwatering drama that we crave — all in good fun, of course.

Either way, it works for us.
