'Benedict CumberCats' Is The Best Thing To Happen To The Internet This Week

The Internet has an odd love affair with Benedict Cumberbatch that I've never entirely understood.

I think it has something to do with the fact that I've never seen anything that he's acted in and have no plans to go out of my way to do so, but that's just a theory. We may never know the real answer.

While I may not be able to fully appreciate the man Tumblr has dubbed "The Greatest Actor To Ever Act," this strange obsession has produced a number of fascinating creations.

I recently discovered my favorite Cumberbatch-inspired project, which I've dubbed "Benedict CumberCats":

It's a pretty simple concept: you take a picture of Benedict Cumberbatch and Photoshop a cat somewhere into the image. That's really it. It's so simple, but it works so well.
