This Dog Is Really Bad At Catching Frisbees (Video)

by Connor Toole

Watching a dog catch a frisbee in its mouth is one of the number of reasons to get a dog. It shouldn't be your motivating factor, as Frisbee Catching makes up less than 1 percent of the things you'll spend time doing with your pet (just behind "cleaning poop off your pillow"), but it's definitely a strong selling point.

Unfortunately for Instagram user Mike2600,  his half-lab, half-beagle mix named Sabai couldn't care less about catching a disk in his mouth. Despite Mike's frequent attmepts, Sabai refuses to show even a little bit of effort as the blue frisbee repeatedly crashes to the ground.

The last thing I want to do is sound like a cat person, but I can't help but admire Sabai's refusal to catch the frisbee just because it's what he's supposed to do. If I had done what I was supposed to do, I'd be making millions of dollars running up and down a wooden court throwing a ball at a raised hoop.

Instead, I'm making not millions of dollars writing about dogs that are bad at catching frisbees. It's bittersweet.
