There’s something about dogs being awful at doing things in slow motion that really tickles my funny bone.

One of my favorite videos from this year is of a dog that jumped just high enough to faceplant into a couch, but this video of Nana the Great Pyrenees trying to catch dog treats is a worthy contender.

In fairness, this video was filmed while Nana’s owner was trying to teach her to catch dog treats, so it’s not like we’re watching a professional at work. Still, there were a few clips there that made me wonder if there is something wrong with Nana’s brain. It’s one thing to simply not catch a treat — it’s another thing entirely to bite wildly at the air while making literally no contact with the biscuit whatsoever.

At least she got one.
