Melania Trump, Donald Trump's unfortunate wife (being married to Donald Trump is like being married to irritable bowel syndrome), gave a speech at the Republican National Convention last night.
And if you've been anywhere near the internet today, you will have heard she plagiarized a whole section, nearly verbatim, from Michelle Obama's speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2008.

Yeah, not only did the speechwriters decide to plagiarize in Melania's speech, they chose to plagiarize a speech given by a woman in Melania's EXACT position eight years ago. Like, they couldn't even get creative in whom they stole from.
Anyway, everyone is laughing at this and hating on the Trump campaign for yet again being the laziest, evil, supervillain group in history.
But apparently, some people don't care at all about plagiarism because reports say the dress Melania Trump was wearing sold out an hour after the speech was given, and is continuing to fly off the shelves even in the other colors (jet black, hot pink, probably refugee blood red).
This shouldn't surprise us, of course, as many Trump supporters openly explain how they don't really believe the things Trump says, so what's a little blatant plagiarism from his wife when she's wearing a sick dress?
It's a pretty dope dress by the way, so, yes, I get it. But, it just kills me to think of all these women who have to listen to Trump say sexist, awful things constantly only to see his wife dressed cooly and rush to Amazon or wherever to pick up Melania's dress for themselves. It's too funny.

The dress is sold out, but it reportedly costs $2,190, which, coincidentally, is also the cost of a one-way plane ticket to Toronto plus the price of a hostel for a couple of weeks while you find an apartment.
