Father Of Four Hilariously Hears Silence For The First Time Ever (Video)

If you frequently visit websites dedicated to videos that make you all tingly inside (insert porn joke here), you've probably seen at least a couple featuring deaf people hearing various things for the first time.

This is not one of those videos.

I think we can agree "hearing" is generally better than "not hearing," but if the deaf guy I talked to at a bar once was telling the truth, even deaf people occasionally flick off their hearing aids when they want some peace and quiet.

I don't know if this is actually a thing people do, and while I don't think most people would be willing to accept the tradeoff, I can think of a few times in my life when I would have loved to have the ability to shut the world up.

I assume that anyone with children would substitute "years" for "times" in that previous sentence, and one father of four was lucky enough to experience a few golden seconds of silence in this truly touching video.

I'd probably cry too.
