Finding a date for prom can be stressful.
Movies and TV shows have built up prom (short for "promenade," which is French for "bad hand jobs") so much that not having a date feels to many of our young people like a horrible failure, indicative of decades of melancholic, divorce-filled decades ahead of them.
But what we need to realize, and teach this nation's teenagers, is finding a date doesn't make you who you are. In the immortal words of Christina Aguilera,
You are beautiful, no matter what they say.
Now, if that doesn't raise your spirits, don't worry, I have for you a touching story of finding love and companionship in the most unlikely of places: a litter box.
Yes, one sad teenager could not find a date to prom. All the humans who caught his eye were just not interested in what he was selling (not weed, apparently, or else he would've swiftly secured a hand job partner).
So, not wanting to be a weirdo who showed up to prom alone, this teenager dressed up his cat in a pink gown and took her with him.
Now, to be fair, I don't know whether or not this young man actually did bring this hot cat to prom, or if he just took this sexy picture with her. But, I don't particularly care. It is wonderful enough as is.
I mean, behold how lovingly this cat is looking at him. No one -- human or feline -- has ever looked at me with such tenderness.
