I don't know about you, but I feel like I'm constantly offending people. I try not to, but we are frequently told one thing is politically correct only to find out it's actually offensive. Or vice versa.

I'm still not sure what is appropriate to say. For example, it feels offensive to call somebody Asian. I'm pretty sure that's not an offensive term, but I'm honestly not sure. And just saying that is probably not very PC.

Jerry Seinfeld said political correctness makes it hard for comedians to be funny, and I have to agree with him. Except for the fact that I have trouble keeping up and knowing what is politically correct.

Do I call a transgender person he or she? I guess I could just say “that person,” but that doesn't sound right either. I think I should just stop talking.
