In order to make money you must keep your clients satisfied and sometimes this requires a group effort.
Develop a sense of reliability:
The biggest question clients ask themselves before doing business with you is: “Is he/she reliable?” or “Can he/she be counted on to get the job done?” You always want your clients to be comfortable knowing that they can rely on you to get the job done. In order to do this, you must be solution-driven. Your clients understand that problems will arise, but it is your ability to come up with solutions to these issues rather than mope around that will make you reliable.
Your clients don’t want excuses or else they would have never trusted you with their business in the first place. There are no excuses when it comes to failing, so don’t even bother. Do the best you can to make those around you feel comfortable working with you. At the end of the day, it’s either you can or cannot produce — no excuses.
Have empathy toward your clients:
Your ability to relate to your clients is a crucial factor in their willingness to do business with you. In order to properly secure their business, you must understand where they are coming from. How you deliver your message is just as important as you delivering on your promises.
Clients want to deal with someone who understands their problems and can sympathize with them. Being able to show empathy for people’s situations is half the battle and it will show your clients that you are reliable.
You must have the proper initiative to get things done:
In order to be a formidable leader, you must have initiative. Since you are the one responsible for running the show, it is important that you step forward with a firm step. No one wants to deal with someone who constantly second guesses themselves. There is nothing wrong with taking steps back in order to make sure that you have everything in order, but it becomes a problem when you constantly second guess yourself. It shows a sense of weakness.
No one wants to work with someone who is weak. This makes you seem unreliable and it puts a sense of doubt in the minds of your clients, which is a big no-no in the business world. When it comes to completing your tasks, you must think outside the box and be fearless. You must be the one to set the tone because everyone is looking for your lead.

Loyalty is the foundation that fosters fruitful and timeless business relationships. No one wants to work with someone who is untrustworthy. If you are always trying to one up people and skimp them on your promises, eventually you will gain such a reputation in the industry. No one wants to work with someone they can’t trust.
